After the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV, there was much to come in the offseason. Tom Brady decided to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Patriots fans are not happy (most of them).
Another big trade was the star Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins, who was traded to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals may be one of the best teams in the league, even though David Johnson was traded to the Houston Texans.
Also, the LA Rams dropped their star RB Todd Gurley, who was then signed by the Atlanta Falcons, who released Devonta Freeman.
The Eagles of Philadelphia got Darius Slay, but the Eagles lost Malcolm Jenkins, who announced he would not be staying with the team, and eventually Jenkins signed with the New Orleans Saints.
The Broncos signed Melvin Gordon, who will stay in the same division to haunt his former team, the Chargers.
The Cowboys signed Ha Ha Clinton Dix, to add to the Cowboys defensive stars including Sean Lee, Demarcus Lawrence, and Leighton Vander Esch.
The Colts TE Eric Ebron signed with the Steelers, so that may give an opening to Jack Doyle, the Colts backup TE, who may now be the starter.
Marcus Mariota signed with the Oakland Raiders, which doesn’t surprise me because Ryan Tannehill is staying with the Titans, and the Raiders might cut Derek Carr.
The 49ers traded Deforest Buckner to the Colts, so he will add to the Colts defense that already has Darius Leonard.
The Vikings WR Stefon Diggs, who got the game winning TD in the playoff game against the Saints, was traded to the Bills, which Diggs had hinted about on Twitter.
Phillip Rivers, the Chargers QB, signed with the Colts for a 1 year, $25 million dollar deal. Jacoby Brissett will now be placed at the backup spot, or maybe get traded for a draft pick.
The Jaguars traded DE Calais Cambell to the Baltimore Ravens, who are coming off a season where they were probably the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Calais Cambell may help the Ravens to win a Super Bowl.
Robby Anderson, the Jets WR, said he dreamed of playing with Tom Brady. Does that mean he is going to Tampa Bay?
I hope that this has been helpful!
