Letter from the Editors
Dear readers,
First, we would like to thank you all for your continuous support throughout these past few months! The Belmont Times wouldn’t be here today without your contributions. We really appreciate the amazing readers and writers in this community.
All of the submissions this month were a joy to read! As you continue to submit pieces to this magazine, we can see you grow and develop as a writer. Every submission that we received was wonderful, so we hope that you enjoy reading them as much as we did!
As you have probably already seen, some of the editors have added short pieces to this month’s edition. We hope that you have fun reading them, and maybe even find some inspiration.
There is one issue that we would like to address. Sadly, the number of submissions (especially general submissions) we receive has been dwindling. Of course, we understand that you are likely busy with school and other activities. However, we still hope that more people will participate in the coming months. It’s always good to have more perspectives and new creators! So, if you know of any other students who may be interested in the Belmont Times (whether it’s submitting pieces or simply reading the monthly issues), please ask them to visit our website at www.belmonttimes.com and/or contact us at belmontkidsmagazine@gmail.com.
Once again, thank you all so much! We hope you enjoy the December issue of the Belmont Times. Try the recipes, follow the instructions for the crafts, attempt the puzzles (and perhaps win prizes), and read the pieces!
Happy New Year,
The Editors (Belmont Youth Writers)
